| Deselect All | CTRL+SHIFT+A | Deselects all fields and elements in the form. |

Keyboard Shortcuts
The NEX-Forms Builder supports a range of keyboard shortcuts designed to speed up your form-building process and enhance your workflow. By using these shortcuts, you can perform various actions quickly without needing to rely solely on mouse clicks and navigation through menus.
Commonly Used Keyboard Shortcuts:
NOTE: The following Shortcodes will only work while in the NEX-Forms Form Builder and in the FORM view of the editor.
Batch Field or Single Field Selection Keyboard Shortcuts
NOTE: The below Keyboard shortcuts can only be used after making a DragBox or a Batch Field Selection.
| Action | Shortcut | Function |
| Edit | Enter | Opens the editing options for the current selected element or selected element group. |
| Copy | CTRL+C | Copies the selected element or selected elements group, enabling you to paste it elsewhere in the form. |
| Cut | CTRL+X | Cuts the selected element or selected elements group from its current position, allowing you to paste it elsewhere. |
| Paste Below | CTRL+V | Paste copied/cut fields below the current hovered field. Hovering inside a step or grid column will append the field to the grid or step. No hover will append the fields to the outer form container. |
| Paste Above | CTRL+SHIFT+V | Paste copied/cut fields above the current hovered field. Hovering inside a step or grid column will prepend the field to the grid or step. No hover will prepend the fields to the outer form container. |
Keyboard+Mouse Click Shortcuts
| Shortcut | Windows | Function |
| Form Field/Element Select | CTRL + LEFT CLICK | Adds a field to a batch selection. If already selected will remove the field from the selection. |
| Field Group Type Selection | CTRL+SHIFT+LEFT CLICK | Selects all fields of the same type. For example use this to select all TEXT fields or all HEADINGS, etc. You can then target-edit the FIELD GROUP. |
| Context Menu | RIGHT CLICK | Right Click on anything in the form container area which will bring up the NEX-Form Context Menu. The Right click context menu includes quick editing options and available actions to take on Single Field, Batch Selections or Field Group selections. |
