Form Settings

The Extra Form Settings in NEX-Forms allow you to customize and fine-tune the functionality of your forms to better suit your specific requirements. These settings include additional configuration options beyond the standard form setup, giving you greater control over how the form behaves and interacts with users.

Save Form Progress
By enabling the "Save Form Progress" feature you will enable your users to leave the form and continue to complete the form at a later stage. The already completed data will be stored as browser cookies.
  1. Edit or Create a New Form.
  2. Click on the "Extra Form Options" item from the left hand menu.

  3. Click on "Form Settings".

  4. Set the "Save Form Progress" setting to "Enable" or "Disable"

Setting a Form Expiration Date & Time
The Form Expiration Date feature in NEX-Forms allows you to set a specific date when a form will automatically be disabled and no longer accessible to users. This functionality is particularly useful for managing time-sensitive forms without needing manual intervention to disable them.
  1. Edit or Create a New Form.
  2. Click on the "Extra Form Options" item from the left hand menu.

  3. Click on "Form Settings".

  4. Enter an Expiration date in the following date format: YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM
    NOTE: Enter hours in 24 hour format
    NOTE: Leave the Time input if you need the form to be disbaled on the entire date using this format: YYYY/MM/DD

  5. Enter a message to inform the user that the form they are trying to access have expired. Leave this message BLANK to have the form completely removed after the expiration date and/or time.

Setting a Submission Limit for a Form
The Form Submission Limit feature in NEX-Forms allows you to specify the maximum number of submissions a form can accept. Once the submission limit is reached, the form is automatically disabled, and users attempting to access it will see a message indicating that submissions are closed.
  1. Edit or Create a New Form.
  2. Click on the "Extra Form Options" item from the left hand menu.

  3. Click on "Form Settings".

  4. Specifify the Form's Submission limit.
    NOTE: Leave this blank or 0 for unlimited submissions.

  5. Enter a message to inform the user that the form they are trying to access have reached its submission limit. Leave this message BLANK to have the form completely removed after the submission limit have been reached.
