Creating a New Form

This article will guide you through the steps to create a new blank form, load pre-made NEX-Forms templates, and import existing forms. Whether you're starting from scratch, utilizing ready-made templates for quick setup, or importing a form you’ve previously created, this comprehensive guide will walk you through each process.

Creating a new Blank Form
  1. Log into your Wordpress Admin area.
  2. Click on the "NEX-Forms" menu item from the admin sidebar.
  3. Click on "ADD A NEW FORM"

  4. Stay on the "Blank" tab.

  5. Give your form a title.

  6. With your Form Title in place click on "CREATE"

  7. The NEX-Forms form editor now will open and this where you will be adding some fields to your newly created blank
    form canvas.
Loading a form template
There are over 35 pre-made NEX-Forms form templates to give you a head start in your form creations. See below how to make use of these templates.
  1. Log into your Wordpress Admin area.
  2. Click on the "NEX-Forms" menu item from the admin sidebar.
  3. Click on "LOAD FORM TEMPLATE"

  4. Select any of the available NEX-Forms pre-made templates.

  5. The NEX-Forms form editor now will open and your chosen template will be loaded.
Importing a form
Any created form can be exported and then be imported into any NEX-Forms installation. See below how to import any form previously created by NEX-Forms.
  1. Log into your Wordpress Admin area.
  2. Click on the "NEX-Forms" menu item from the admin sidebar.
  3. Click on the "IMPORT FORM" button.

  4. When your file browser opens, browse to any form exported by NEX-Forms in .txt format and open it.

  5. The NEX-Forms form editor now will open and your imported form will be loaded with all its settings.
